Focus and Scope

Jurnal Fundadikdas (Fundamental Pendidikan Dasar) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Department of Primary Education, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Indonesia. The journal serves as an academic platform for disseminating research findings, facilitating scholarly communication, and fostering critical discussion on primary education and related educational practices. The journal aims to advance knowledge and contribute to the development of theory, policy, and practice in primary education through the publication of original, high-quality research articles. It welcomes empirical studies, theoretical analyses, and evidence-based investigations that address current issues, innovations, and challenges in primary education.

Aims and Scope
Jurnal Fundadikdas focuses on original research and scholarly contributions in the following areas:
(1) Teaching and Learning in Primary Education: Instructional approaches, learning strategies, assessment, and subject-specific education in natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, languages, civics, religious education, physical education, and arts education.
(2) Primary Education Curriculum: Curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, innovation, and alignment with contemporary educational needs.
(3) Primary Education Management: School leadership, educational administration, institutional management, quality assurance, and school development.
(4) Guidance and Counseling in Primary Education: Guidance services, student support, social-emotional development, and counseling practices in primary school settings.
(5) Educational Psychology in Primary Education: Cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral development, learning motivation, student engagement, and other psychological dimensions of primary education.
(6) Primary School Teacher Education: Teacher preparation, professional development, pedagogical competencies, teaching practices, and continuing professional learning for primary school teachers.
