Article Processing Charges
Open Access and Publication Fees
Jurnal Fundadikdas (Fundamental Pendidikan Dasar) is committed to providing immediate and unrestricted open access to published research, enabling readers worldwide to access and use scholarly content without subscription fees. To support the editorial and technical processes involved in publishing open-access articles, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to manuscripts that have been formally accepted for publication. The APC is intended to support publication-related services and does not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or the assessment of a manuscript's academic quality.
Article Submission Fee
USD 0.00
Jurnal Fundadikdas does not charge a submission fee. Manuscript submission, initial editorial screening, and peer review are free of charge. All manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's editorial policies, publication ethics, and peer-review standards.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
USD 65.00 per accepted article
The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following the journal's peer-review process. Authors are not required to pay the APC at the time of submission or during peer review. Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Editorial decisions are based solely on the manuscript's scholarly merit, relevance to the journal's scope, methodological rigor, and compliance with the journal's editorial and ethical standards.
What Does the APC Cover?
The APC contributes to the following publication-related services:
(1) Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration: Registration of a DOI for each published article, subject to the journal's DOI registration arrangements.
(2) Similarity screening: Use of plagiarism-detection or text-similarity screening tools to support the journal's publication ethics procedures.
(3) Article production: Preparation of the final manuscript for publication, including typesetting, layout, and PDF production.
(4) Digital publication and hosting: Maintenance of the journal's online publishing platform and associated technical infrastructure.
(5) Digital preservation and archiving: Support for the long-term accessibility and preservation of published content through the journal's designated archiving arrangements.
These services are provided in accordance with the journal's publication workflow and available technical infrastructure.
Payment Procedures
International Authors
International authors may pay the APC in United States dollars (USD) through the bank transfer arrangements specified in the official invoice issued by the journal. Payment instructions will be provided after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
Authors Based in Indonesia
Authors based in Indonesia may pay the equivalent APC in Indonesian rupiah (IDR). The payable amount will be calculated using the Bank Indonesia middle exchange rate applicable on the date of formal acceptance, unless otherwise stated in the official invoice. The journal will provide the relevant payment instructions and confirmation procedures through its official communication channels. Authors should not make payments to personal accounts or unofficial payment channels unless explicitly authorized and documented by the journal.
APC Waiver and Reduction Policy
Jurnal Fundadikdas recognizes that publication fees may create financial barriers for some authors. The journal may therefore consider requests for a full or partial APC waiver in the following circumstances:
(1) Authors affiliated with institutions in countries classified as low-income economies by the World Bank, according to the classification applicable at the time the request is assessed.
(2) Authors who can demonstrate significant financial hardship or an inability to cover the APC.
Waiver requests must be submitted during the manuscript submission process and must include a brief explanation and, where appropriate, supporting documentation. Requests submitted after formal acceptance may not be considered, except under exceptional circumstances at the journal's discretion. All waiver requests are assessed confidentially and separately from editorial evaluation. Decisions on waivers do not affect the peer-review process or the editorial decision on a manuscript. A waiver is not automatic and is subject to the journal's assessment and available resources.
Transparency and Contact
The applicable APC and any approved waiver or reduction will be communicated clearly to authors. No additional publication charges will be imposed unless they have been disclosed in advance and communicated to the authors.
