Archiving Policy
Jurnal Fundadikdas (Fundamental Pendidikan Dasar) is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of its published scholarly content. The journal recognizes the importance of digital preservation in maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record and ensuring that published research remains accessible to readers, researchers, and the wider academic community.
Digital Preservation
The journal seeks to ensure the long-term preservation of its published articles and associated metadata through appropriate digital archiving and backup practices. Digital preservation measures may include maintaining backup copies, migrating or converting digital files when necessary, and adopting widely used file formats to support continued access as technology evolves. Where supported and implemented, the journal may use digital preservation services such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) or CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) to support distributed preservation and recovery of published content.
Journal Website and Content Backup
The journal aims to maintain secure digital copies of its published articles, metadata, and essential website content to reduce the risk of data loss caused by technical failures or other unforeseen circumstances. Backup and recovery procedures are intended to support the restoration of journal content and the continuity of access to published materials. The journal periodically reviews its preservation practices to maintain the reliability and availability of its digital content.
Self-Archiving Policy
Jurnal Fundadikdas (Fundamental Pendidikan Dasar) supports self-archiving and encourages authors to make their published research accessible through personal websites, institutional repositories, and other appropriate scholarly repositories. Authors may deposit the final published version of their articles immediately after publication, provided that the deposited version includes complete bibliographic information and proper acknowledgment of the original publication in Jurnal Fundadikdas (Fundamental Pendidikan Dasar). Where available, authors are encouraged to include the article's Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and a link to the official published version. Self-archiving must preserve the integrity of the published work and comply with the journal's applicable copyright and licensing terms.
Indexing and Metadata Preservation
The journal seeks to make article metadata available through appropriate scholarly indexing, abstracting, and discovery services to improve the visibility, discoverability, and accessibility of its publications. Where supported, the journal makes bibliographic metadata available through interoperable metadata standards and protocols, including the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), to facilitate metadata harvesting by scholarly databases, libraries, repositories, and other information services. Indexing and archiving arrangements depend on the services in which the journal participates and the requirements of each service.
Digital Object Identifiers and Permanent Access
Where assigned, each published article is identified by a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to facilitate persistent identification, citation, and linking to the published version. DOI registration and metadata deposits are managed through the journal's applicable DOI registration arrangements. The journal aims to maintain stable access to published articles and their bibliographic metadata. Published articles are made available in PDF format through the journal's website, subject to applicable publication, copyright, and access policies.
Commitment to Long-Term Accessibility
Jurnal Fundadikdas (Fundamental Pendidikan Dasar) supports non-exclusive digital archiving and the responsible dissemination of scholarly publications through recognized repositories and scholarly information services. Through appropriate preservation, backup, metadata management, and self-archiving practices, the journal seeks to protect the scholarly record and support the continued accessibility of research in fundamental education, elementary education, teaching and learning, curriculum development, and related fields.
