Publication Schedule
NOTION, published by Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, is committed to maintaining a consistent, transparent, and timely publication schedule in accordance with established scholarly publishing standards.
1. Publication Frequency
NOTION is published periodically, with two issues per year, in May and November. The journal is committed to maintaining its announced publication schedule to ensure the regular and timely dissemination of scholarly research.
2. Volume and Number of Articles
Each issue contains approximately [6–15] peer-reviewed research articles, subject to editorial decisions, the quality of accepted submissions, and the journal’s publication standards. The journal strives to maintain academic rigor, thematic coherence, and diversity in research topics, institutional affiliations, and geographical representation among contributing authors.
3. Online First Publication and Early Access
To facilitate the timely dissemination of research findings, NOTION may publish accepted manuscripts online ahead of their inclusion in a scheduled issue, provided that they have completed the required editorial processes, including copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, and final author approval. Such articles may be made available as Online First, Articles in Press, or Early Access, as applicable to the journal’s publishing workflow. Where assigned, each article will be published with its Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to support persistent identification, citation, and discoverability. Early online publication does not replace the journal’s regular issue schedule; rather, it complements the publication process by making research accessible to the scholarly community as soon as it is ready for publication.
