Mimesis is an academic, open access, peer-reviewed journal established and first published in 2020 by the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Literature, and Communication, Ahmad Dahlan University, Indonesia.

Focusing on culture, language, and literature seen from an Indonesian perspective, Mimesis provides a platform for the presentation, analysis, and critique of provocative works, publishing articles that transcend disciplines and advance the study of the humanities.
In this edition, Mimesis Journal published 6 articles from 1 country and 4 institutions, namely IAIN Salatiga, Universitas Proklamasi 45 Yogyakarta, Universitas Gajah Mada, and Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. All articles are written in Indonesian. It is hoped that all articles published can be a reference for the authors and expand knowledge for all readers.
