Mimesis is an academic, open access, peer-reviewed journal established and first published in 2020 by the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Literature, and Communication, Ahmad Dahlan University, Indonesia.
Focusing on culture, language, and literature seen from an Indonesian perspective, Mimesis provides a platform for the presentation, analysis, and critique of provocative works, publishing articles that transcend disciplines and advance the study of the humanities.
In this edition, Mimesis Journal published 6 articles from 2 countries and 6 institutions, namely Sunan Ampel Surabaya State Islamic University, Gajah Mada University, Tidar University, Yogyakarta State University, Northeast Normal University, and Fujian Normal University. A total of 5 articles were written in Indonesian and 1 article was written in English. It is hoped that all articles published can be a reference for the authors and expand knowledge for all readers.
