Journal of Agri-food Science and Technology (JAFOST) is a peer-review journal that the Food Technology Department officially publishes, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (tp.uad.ac.id). As a scientific journal, JAFOST publishes research and scientific studies related to the development of chemical/biochemical science, engineering, processing technology, biotechnology, and the food industry. The advantages of this journal can be accessed by students, researchers, academics, and practitioners. Authors are required to register in advance and upload the manuscript online. The process of the document could be monitored through OJS. Authors, readers, editorial board, editors, and peer review could obtain the manuscript's real-time status. JAFOST publishes four times a year i. e. March, June, September, and December.

Article Processing Charges (APC) Information

Journal of Agri-food Science and Technology (JAFoST) provides all articles in full open access immediately upon publication. For manuscripts submitted from May 2026 onward, the Article Processing Charge (APC) will be adjusted to 600.000 (IDR) for Indonesian authors and 60 (USD) for international authors per accepted manuscript.

This fee covers the costs associated with peer review administration and management, professional production of articles, DOI crossref number, similarity checking, provision of online tools for authors and editors, indexing services coordination, and customer support.
