Pasien COVID-19 dengan manifestasi neurologis dan komplikasi seperti pusing, sakit kepala, penyakit serebrovaskular akut,
gangguan kesadaran, mielitis transversal, ensefalopati nekrotikans hemoragik akut, ensefalitis, ataksia, hipogeusia, dan sindrom
Guillian-Barre memerlukan penanganan yang tepat. Tinjauan literatur ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang
strategi pengobatan yang digunakan untuk pasien dengan manifestasi neurologis COVID-19 dan mengeksplorasi mekanisme
patofisiologis yang mendasarinya. Tinjauan literatur ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manifestasi neurologis yang diinduksi
SARS-CoV-2 dan mekanisme yang mendasari patofisiologi neurologis yang menyebabkan kerusakan jaringan saraf dengan pengobatan kasus per kasus. Temuan review kami adalah SARS-CoV-1 dan SARS-CoV-2 terutama menyerang sistem pernapasan. Mekanisme dan target SARS-CoV-2 ke sel saraf terjadi melalui beberapa rute, yaitu transneuronal dari paru, hematogen, dan
olfaktorius.
