Islam as a Humanitarian Teaching and Pillar of Peace Education

In the Islamic view, the teachings of humanity are education that seeks to realize man on his potential, and helps awaken and guide that potential to grow intoa caliph (earth manager) who is responsible to Allah for his various roles on earth, loves fellow humans, loves nature and will increase his piety and faith in Allah Almighty. In line with the concept of humanitarian teachings in Islam, where humans are social creatures, the need for Islamic peace education as a response to the development of Islam as a religion of rahmatan lil 'aalamiin, as well as an effort to strengthen the security and social stability of society, as a response to the historical context, the development of science and technology, the phenomenon of globalization and pluralism, strengthening unity, solidarity, and harmonious relations between Muslims and non-Muslim communities. The concept of peace Islamic education based on the Qur'an and Hadith is to create good and peaceful relations between fellow Muslims, and maintain the unity and unity of Muslims by obeying the teachings of Allah SWT and His Messenger. Peace Islamic education is an effort to create a society of peace, tolerance, and respect for differences.
