Focus and Scope
The journal aims to publish original articles on the implementation of science, technology, and innovative practices in community service and empowerment. It provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and community empowerment activists to disseminate knowledge, experiences, and evidence-based practices that contribute to improving community welfare, strengthening local capacities, and promoting sustainable development, particularly in marginalized and underserved areas of Indonesia and other regions worldwide.
The journal welcomes original articles that report community engagement initiatives, participatory programs, and the application of scientific knowledge and technology to address social challenges and meet community needs. Its scope encompasses character building; entrepreneurship development; food safety; healthy lifestyles; learning and educational development; product packaging and marketing; soft-skill development; tourist village development; traditional medicine; and waste management. Contributions may include the development and implementation of community-based programs, capacity-building initiatives, appropriate technology applications, and innovative approaches that enhance community participation, self-reliance, productivity, and quality of life.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches involving academics, community members, government institutions, industry, and other relevant partners. Submitted articles should demonstrate the relevance of the activities to community needs, describe the implementation process, and present outcomes, lessons learned, or measurable impacts where applicable. Through the dissemination of practical experiences and scholarly insights, the journal seeks to foster knowledge exchange, strengthen partnerships between universities and communities, and support inclusive, sustainable, and community-oriented development. Manuscripts must present original contributions and must not be under consideration for publication in another journal or conference proceedings.
