Focus and Scope

The focus of Disease Prevention and Public Health Journal is open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on all aspects of health-related prevention with a particular focus on the theory and practice of public health.
The editors are especially interested in receiving manuscripts on public health areas that focus on health-related prevention, with the scopes are not limited on:
  • Epidemiology - Publishes articles that explore and analyze important contributions to the understanding of health-related prevention on communicable disease, non-communicable disease.
  • Health promotion - This section welcomes excellent manuscripts related to family health, adolescent health, child health, gerontology, behavior medicine, mental and psychological health.
  • Occupational and environmental health - This section publishes the specific human disease and injuries related to occupational safety and environmental health. 
  • Health policy - This section publishes specific on public health policy and management, health services, and health economics.   
  • Nutrition - This section publishes specific topics across the field of nutrition related to healthy lifestyles, diet, and research regarding disease prevention.
