Open-access publishing is not without costs. The Disease Prevention and Public Health Journal, therefore, levies an article-processing charge of USD 52,65 (800,000 IDR -starting from the acceptance of the article in March 2024) for each article accepted for publication.

 

The manuscript submission will be DISCOUNT OF CHARGE if it meets ONE of the following criteria:
a. The author/co-author comes from outside Indonesia
b. The manuscript presents high-quality research findings (assessed during the peer review process).

c. For authors from Low-income economics or Lower-middle-income economies countries, article-processing charge waivers or discounts are granted on a case-by-case based in any of the following countries, which were classified by the World Bank in 2017. Click here for information about how the World Bank classifies countries. During the submission process, please authors request this waiver.

Each accepted manuscript will be charged for high-quality manuscript production including the similarity check and proofreading service. Instructions for money transfers via bank transfer will be provided by the editor with the notification of acceptance for the accepted paper. The waiver will have no effect on the review result of the paper. A waiver is most likely to be denied if it is not asked at this stage.
