Development of Discovery-Based Practicum Instructions of Human Respiratory System for Student

Practical instructions are very important in the process of implementing practicum. Practical activities make it easier for students to develop potential skills and make students active in thinking. The research objective was to determine the quality of practical instructions for the human respiratory system material and to determine the response of students in small-scale trials. The method used is research and development (R&D), the design of the development model is the 4-D model with the stages of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. nstrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar angket, pedoman wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. The small class trial consisted of 9 students. The results of the assessment of the developed practicum instructions obtained a score of 95.83% by material experts with very good categories, 75% by media experts with very good categories, 81.90% by teachers with very good categories and 100% by students response results on small-scale trials. The results of the assessment that the discovery-based respiratory system practicum instructions for grade VIII SMP product is feasible to distribute.
