Ta'dib is a concept in Islamic education that has a focus on the formation of adab. Adab is the essence of Islamic education, the formation of a paradigm of thinking that orients towards the formation of adab produces ideal humans, known as Insan Kamil, Insan Adabi, and Insan Kulli or termed Ulul Albab (people who think). But the reality that occurs is that many people are knowledgeable, but less or do not yet have good Adab, Al-Attas called such conditions the Loss of Adab. This study aims to describe the concept of Ta'dib and its implementation as an answer to the lack or disappearance of Adab. The study was conducted with a type of literature research with data collection from articles provided on Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, and Semantic Scholar. Based on these data, content analysis or content analysis is carried out. The results showed that Ta'dib as a concept of Islamic education requires a pattern of value-based education, namely the value of justice, and the value of wisdom. The formation of akhlakul karimah or Ta'dib is important but also does not exclude intellectual abilities and skills so that there is a balance between knowledge and good deed. These scientific conditions and good deeds or charity that are internalized in students, make the individual good Adab.References
