Urgensi kurikulum ISMUBA dalam membentuk karakter siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Muhammadiyah

Kurikulum ISMUBA memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan kurikulum ISMUBA dalam membentuk karakter akhlakul karimah pada siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis interaktif yang berlanjut hingga selesai dalam tiga tahap yaitu pembersihan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMK Muhammadiyah, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan konsep penyelenggaraan pendidikan karakter bagi siswa SMK Muhammadiyah sejalan dengan visi sekolah yaitu bertaqwa, berilmu, dan berakhlaqul karimah. Selama proses belajar guru memulai dengan kegiatan berdo’a, membaca, menulis, dan menafsirka al-Qur’an. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan memahami, menghayati, dan mengamalkan ajaran Islam sebagaimana yang didapatkan dalam pembelajaran ISMUBA. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini, para siswa bersosialisasi secara bermartabat, jujur dan berkarakter dengan baik. Demikian itu didukung oleh penguatan kurikulum ISMUBA di SMK Muhammadiyah yang berintegrasi dalam pembelajaran, pembiasaan dan keteladanan guru-guru dan para pendidik.
