Plagiarism Screening

Commitment to Originality and Academic Integrity

At NOTION: Journal of Linguistics, Literature, and Culture, we champion authentic and original research. To protect your unique academic voice, all submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough screening for both plagiarism and self-plagiarism using industry-standard tools like Turnitin, iThenticate, and advanced search engines.

To maintain our high publication standards, we expect manuscripts to meet the following criteria:

    • An overall similarity score of strictly less than 20%.

    • A maximum overlap of 4% from any single source.

If a submission exceeds these thresholds, our Managing Editor will carefully evaluate the context of the flagged sections. Depending on the nature of the overlap, we may reach out to you for further clarification and refinement, or in cases of significant duplication, the manuscript may be respectfully declined.
