Islam in World Perspectives (IWP) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published in affiliation with the Islam in World Perspectives Symposium (IWOS), an annual international forum organized by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Indonesia. This journal is dedicated to promoting rigorous, original scholarship in the field of Islamic Studies and serves as a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to engage in critical discussions on the dynamic role of Islam in the global context. Through the publication of high-quality articles, IWP seeks to contribute to the advancement of Islamic knowledge, thought, and practice across diverse academic and cultural landscapes. The journal focuses on four major areas within Islamic Studies: Arabic Language and Literature, Hadith Studies, Islamic Religious Education, and Islamic Banking and Finance. Each section provides in-depth academic space for exploring classical traditions as well as modern developments. From philological analysis of Arabic texts to innovations in teaching Arabic, from the authentication of Hadith to its relevance in contemporary life, from curriculum reform in Islamic education to leadership in pesantren, and from Sharia-compliant financial systems to fintech applications in Islamic finance IWP encourages interdisciplinary approaches and contemporary relevance in each of these fields. IWP also welcomes studies that bridge Islamic scholarship with broader global, social, educational, legal, and technological issues. The journal emphasizes inclusivity, diversity of thought, and academic excellence. It aims to foster meaningful scholarly dialogue that not only preserves Islamic intellectual traditions but also reinterprets them to address the challenges and opportunities of the modern world. Submissions are subject to a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring the highest standards of quality and scholarly integrity.
