One of the commentators who is quite detailed in explaining the shirk is Buya Hamka in the interpretation of Al-Azhar. An important aspect of this study apart from looking at how shirk according to Buya Hamka is to examine the history of Buya Hamka's thoughts and interpretations so as to produce a complete interpretation which he put into Tafsir Al-Azhar. This study used a qualitative method of literature review. This method collects data obtained from various sources of literature, books, journal articles, and various related research results. This study found that Shirk according to Buya Hamka was broadly divided into two groups. First, Shirk before Islam, which is included in this category are the perpetrators of major sins and non-Muslims before converting to Islam. Second, Shirk after Islam, which is included in this section is excessive worship of other than Allah and changing God's creation. As for what influenced his thinking and interpretation: 1. Family background, 2. Education, 3. Community organizations, 4. social circumstances. Thus, the results of this study further confirm that the results of thought and interpretation cannot be separated from space and time. Therefore, apart from studying the results of interpretations or interpretation books, it is no less important to study the history of the thoughts and interpretations of a mufassir.
Muhammad Ebin Rajab Sihombing Copyright (c) 2023 Muhammad Ebin Rajab Sihombing https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 3 2 141 154 10.12928/taqaddumi.v3i2.8919 Analysis of Istifham Sentences in QS. At-Tin Verse 8: A Study of Charles Sanders Peirce’s Semiotics http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/taqaddumi/article/view/9201
Istifham sentence is not always a question sentence that requires an answer. On the contrary, interogative sentence can function as a command sentence, news sentence and prohibition sentence. In balagah science, this kind of question sentence is classified as a majazi istifham sentence. It is a polemic in the academic world when balagah science cannot axplain the change of sentence function more clearly, only providing a theory when there are interogative sentence particles, such as the word “hamzah (اَ)” or “hal (هَلْ)” in verse. Therefore, this paper wants to explore in more detel the causes of the change of function of istifham setences using Peirce’s semiotic method. Where the concept of Peirce’s semiotics is a process of interpretation derived from the semiotic process of objects and representations which will produce interpretants. With the concept of Peirce’s semiotics, this paper focuses on exploring the interpretant of the istifham sentence in QS. At-Tin Verse 8. By using literature study and descriptive-analysis, the results of this research show that QS. At-Tin verse 8 as an example of an istifham sentence when studied with Peirce’s semiotic theory will find three interpretations. First, the istifham sentence in the verse is included in a potential question sentence that is still waiting for confirmation of the possibilities that exist. Second, the istifham sentence is included in the majazi istifham which gives the meaning of the statement and it’s factual nature, it’s factuality has been recognized in the science of balagah, and Third, as an affirmation that the fairest judge and justice is found from Allah Swt, where this is conventional which is found from the semiotic process of objects and representations of the previous verses.
Zainul Ashri Copyright (c) 2023 Zainul Ashri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 3 2 155 168 10.12928/taqaddumi.v3i2.9201 Da'wah Strategy in the Contemporary Era of Hadith Perspective http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/taqaddumi/article/view/8845
Da'wah strategy is an effort carried out to spread religious teachings with the aim of influencing the understanding, attitudes and behavior of individuals in society. This article discusses several da'wah strategies that are effective in achieving this goal. First, the personal approach strategy involves direct interaction with individuals through communication that is empathetic, persuasive, and respects differences. Second, the strategy of utilizing mass media and information technology utilizes print media, television, radio, and the internet to spread da'wah messages en masse. Third, the education and training strategy involves forming da'wah cadres who have good religious knowledge and effective communication skills. Fourth, the social engagement strategy encourages preachers to engage in social activities that benefit the community, such as economic empowerment, health services or disaster management. Fifth, the contextual approach strategy involves adjusting the da'wah message to the culture, social context, and challenges faced by the target community. In implementing these strategies, preachers can have a positive impact in shaping a better understanding and religious life in society.
Sabilar Rosyad Mus’idul Millah Copyright (c) 2023 Sabilar Rosyad, Mus’idul Millah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 3 2 169 179 10.12928/taqaddumi.v3i2.8845 Understanding Hadith of Imam Muslim Number 1421 According to Perspective of Informative Communication Theory - Shannon-Weaver's http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/taqaddumi/article/view/9439
Marriage is one of the most important basic rules of life among the general public. Marriage that is lived by humans must certainly comply with the conditions or rules that have been set and must be obeyed by humans. Before holding a contract in marriage, generally a man will make a proposal or khitbah to the woman, when the proposal process is based on the hadith narrated by Imam Muslim number 1421 the silence of a woman is considered a sign of approval which raises pros and cons, especially among women today. These problems are then analyzed with Shannon – Weaver's informative communication theory and further examined with the hermeneutic analysis tools offered by Syuhudi Ismail. The result of this study is the emergence of noise sources in the process of conveying messages to the recipient from the informant, or in this case from the man to the woman who is proposed to. As a solution to avoid this, deliberation is needed between the daughter and parents. The expected result of this deliberation is the willingness of the woman to accept as the meaning of her silence, or the rejection caused by the woman not having the courage to express it. In addition, with deliberation, it is hoped that the Shannon – Weaver informative communication model can run well so that information from the source to the recipient does not occur as a communication error that causes disruption either now or in the future.
M. There are at least several reasons that form the basis of the relevance of this study. First, in general, studies of ‘Ulūm al-Ḥādīṡ books are now rarely found, especially in Indonesia. Research is now more aimed at a figure's thoughts, independently or comparatively. If this is not the case, then the research is more aimed at thematic studies. It is scarce to find discussions of ‘Ulūm al-Ḥādīṡ books independently. Secondly, this book is unique to be studied. Among other things, (1) this book, by Abu Syuhbah in his introduction, is intended not only for those who are deeply engaged in the field of hadith but also for Muslims in general. (2) The book does not follow the organization of the previous books of hadith science. For example, in the previous books, the discussion would start from the definition of saḥīḥ, ḥasan and ḍa‘īf traditions. In contrast, al-Wasith discusses some technical terms related to hadith science. (3) It also discusses the development of terms that differ from their original meanings in the previous books. Therefore, this review aims to show the "face" of this book and to test the extent to which the author's introduction proves the content of his book.
Nur Kholis Copyright (c) 2023 Nur Kholis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 3 2 193 209 10.12928/taqaddumi.v3i2.9990
