This quantitative study employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all permanent and semi-permanent restaurants selling iced tea in the study area, totaling 32 establishments, and total sampling was applied. Primary data were collected through direct observation using a hygiene and sanitation checklist and laboratory examination. Microbiological analysis was conducted using the Most Probable Number (MPN) method at the Environmental Health Laboratory, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Statistical analysis was performed using Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed that most food handlers had good hygiene practices and most restaurants met sanitation standards; however, 96.9% of iced tea samples were contaminated with Escherichia coli. Statistical analysis indicated no significant association between food handler hygiene and the presence of E. coli (p = 1.000). The high level of Escherichia coli contamination in iced tea suggests that factors other than food handler hygiene, such as raw material quality and environmental sanitation, may play a more dominant role. Comprehensive control measures are therefore required to ensure the safety of ready to drink beverages.
2026-02-13T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Muchsin Maulana, Bella Viaril Karimah http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/jkpl/article/view/12803 Efektivitas Penyuluhan dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Hipertensi di RW 01 Karangbendo 2025-08-04T10:23:25+00:00 Al’zena Naura Zada ichtiarini.santri@ikm.uad.ac.id Widya Nur Safitri ichtiarini.santri@ikm.uad.ac.id Reyhan Dwi Febrianti ichtiarini.santri@ikm.uad.ac.id Wahidah Fitriani ichtiarini.santri@ikm.uad.ac.id Firly Wahyuningsih ichtiarini.santri@ikm.uad.ac.id Naura Rahma Nadhifa ichtiarini.santri@ikm.uad.ac.id ichtiarini nurullita santri ichtiarini.santri@ikm.uad.ac.id Nur Syarianingsih Syam nur.syam@ikm.uad.ac.id
Hypertension is a chronic medical condition characterized by increased blood pressure in the arteries and is often underestimated by the public. Data show that 32% of residents in RW 01 Karangbendo have been diagnosed with hypertension. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of health education in increasing public knowledge about hypertension, including its prevention, impact, and classification. A quantitative method was employed using purposive sampling and a community diagnosis approach. The educational intervention involved 32 respondents and was conducted through lectures and the distribution of educational leaflets. Evaluation was carried out by comparing pretest and posttest results to measure participants' knowledge improvement. The findings indicate that health education significantly enhances public awareness of hypertension. These results highlight that health education through public outreach is an effective strategy for increasing awareness and contributing to hypertension prevention efforts.
2026-02-13T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Al’zena Naura Zada, Widya Nur Safitri, Reyhan Dwi Febrianti, Wahidah Fitriani, Firly Wahyuningsih, Naura Rahma Nadhifa, ichtiarini nurullita santri, Nur Syarianingsih Syam http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/jkpl/article/view/15803 Diagnosis Komunitas Dalam Penilaian Status Kesehatan Masyarakat Menggunakan Metode USG 2026-02-11T04:19:18+00:00 Haqmadi Widya Ihsanto 2211029071@webmail.uad.ac.id Tyas Aisyah Putri., S.Tr.Keb,.
