PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PETUGAS TERHADAP PEMISAHAN DAN PENYIMPANAN LIMBAH MEDIS DI 6 PUSKESMAS WILAYAH MAMPANG PRAPATAN

Puskesmas sebagai salah satu tempat penyelenggaraan upaya pelayanan kesehatan menghasilkan limbah medis yang berpotensi menimbulkan risiko penularan penyakit dan gangguan kesehatan serta pencemaran lingkungan. Masih rendahnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran di antara petugas kesehatan mengenai pengelolaan limbah medis khusus tahapan pemilahan dan penyimpanan. Penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang dilakukan pada bulan September - Oktober 2021. Pengetahuan petugas puskesmas wilayah kerja Mampang Prapatan didominasi pengetahuan kurang baik terkait pengelolaan limbah medis sebesar 77 (72,6%), sedangkan yang berpengetahuan baik sebesar 29 (27,4%). Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara usia dengan pengetahuan responden mengenai pengelolaan limbah medis (p < 0,05), sedangkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pendidikan (p = 0,517 > 0,05) dan lama kerja (p = 0,094 > 0,05) dengan pengetahuan responden.
