The government continues to implement policies to prevent the spread of COVID-19, one of which is the recommendation to use telemedicine. Telemedicine is a form of long-distance service using technology as an effort to accelerate increased access and quality of health services. Telemedicine is a new health service innovation at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the use of telemedicine as a health service during the COVID-19 pandemic at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. Methods: This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research subjects were six informants who were taken through a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done by means of in-depth interviews. Results: Access to telemedicine starts with socializing the telemedicine program on social media which explains the flow of telemedicine in accordance with the SOP. The quality of telemedicine is considered good with the existence of infrastructure that supports the telemedicine program, although the opportunities for telemedicine development are said to be not maximized because they do not yet have targets to achieve. The purpose of telemedicine is to assist patients in obtaining health services where they cannot visit the hospital directly, the implementation of the telemedicine program has been able to provide quality and satisfying services despite obstacles from staff and patients. Conclusion: The use of telemedicine at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital is quite good starting from access to services, quality of telemedicine and user satisfaction. But there are still obstacles, namely the lack of human resources, financial unit officers who do not immediately provide confirmation to patients, to problems with patients. So it is hoped that PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital can carry out internal monitoring and evaluation of the telemedicine program.
Navisoh, Firman, Fitriana Putri Utami, Siti Kurnia Widi Hastuti, Nur Syarianingsih Syam Copyright (c) 2023 Navisoh, Firman, Fitriana Putri Utami, Siti Kurnia Widi Hastuti, Nur Syarianingsih Syam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/ijhr/article/view/9935 Mon, 22 Jan 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Comparison of Self-Care Behavior through Diabetes Self-Care Management Education in Type 2 DM Patients in Urban And Rural http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/ijhr/article/view/10141
Type 2 diabetes presents a significant global health challenge, with a key focus on patients' self-care behavior as integral to disease management. Empowering individuals through self-care management education is crucial for effective daily health management in Type 2 diabetes. This study aims to analyze the comparison of self-care practices through diabetes self-care management education in Type 2 DM sufferers in urban and rural areas. This study employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, involving 156 individuals with Type 2 diabetes. The participants are divided into 92 from Kutacane City and 64 from PuloKemiri Village, Babussalam District, Southeast Aceh Regency. Total sampling is utilized, encompassing the entire population based on specified inclusion criteria. The research utilizes the Summary of Diabetes Self-Care Activities (SDSCA) and diabetes self-care management educational material (DSME) as instruments, with data analysis conducted through the Independent Sample T-Test. The research results showed that there were significant differences in self-care practices for Type 2 DM between individuals in urban and rural areas with a t-test value = 2.415 and a p-value of 0.013. Therefore, it is recommended that health workers adjust educational programs based on differences in needs and access to resources between the two groups.
Rohani, Sri Handayani, Yusnaini Copyright (c) 2023 Rohani, Sri Handayani, Yusnaini https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/ijhr/article/view/10141 Mon, 26 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Analisis Perhitungan Jumlah Kebutuhan SDM Menggunakan Metode Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) di Instalasi Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) Rumah Sakit Swasta http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/ijhr/article/view/9602
Human resources are a valuable investment for hospitals because they can manage
all hospital functions and hospitals are required to provide qualified human
resources. The quality of a student's clinical experience is influenced by the practice environment, supervision, and supervisor. The clinical practice environment influences the approach and achievement of student competencies. Supervision is important for quality nursing care, while effective supervisors act professionally and guide students in managing patients. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the clinical practice environment, supervision and supervisors with the clinical experience of students as an effort to prepare professional nurse graduates in the D-III Nursing study program in Kutacane, Poltekkes Kemenkes Aceh, totaling 64 students with a sampling technique, namely total sampling based on inclusive criteria. Type of research This is a correlational analytical descriptive with a cross sectional approach. Data analysis was carried out via Univariate and Bivariate. The results of this research show that there is a significant relationship between the clinical practice environment, supervision and supervisors with the clinical experience of students in the D-III Nursing study program in Kutacane, Poltekkes Kemenkes Aceh with p-values of 0.033, 0.024 and 0.015. Therefore, it is recommended that collaboration between educational institutions and health institutions be strengthened to create an optimal clinical practice environment.
Devi Susanti, Herlitawati, Taufik Hidayat, Yusnaini Copyright (c) 2023 Lasiah Susanti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/ijhr/article/view/9529 Thu, 14 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 FACTORS AFFECTING MEASLES RUBELLA (MR) IMMUNIZATION DURING NATIONAL CHILD IMMUNIZATION MONTH IN KARYA WANITA PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER PEKANBARU http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/ijhr/article/view/9433
Background : Measles Rubella (MR) vaccine should be given to children aged 9 to 72 months. Indonesian Government held Bulan Imunisasi Anak Nasional (BIAN) to ensure every child accept MR vaccine. Throughout Indonesia, in Riau Province itself the proportion of MR vaccine rate was still relatively low, ranking 28th out of 34 provinces with a proportion of 68.9%. In Pekanbaru City, the MR vaccine reached 77.6%, where Indonesia national target is 95%. The Karya Wanita Public Health Center Pekanbaru is one of 5 Public Health Centers with low achievement in BIAN program, reaching only 36% MR vaccine rate. Low MR vaccine rate is possibly caused by several factors such as mother's knowledge, mother's attitude, mother's occupation, mother's education, and family support. Method : In this research, the method used is quantitative with a cross sectional approach and purposive sampling technique. While the test used is the Spearman rank correlation test with a sample of 124. Results : Factors associated with maternal Measles Rubella (MR) immunization behavior during National Child Immunization Month (BIAN) were mothers education (p = 0.001), mothers occupation (p = 0.805), mothers knowledge level (p = 0.000), mothers attitude (p = 0.015), and family support (p = 0.000). Conclusion: It can be conclude that factors related to maternal Measles Rubella (MR) immunization behavior during National Child Immunization Month (BIAN) are mothers education, mother's level of knowledge, mother's attitude, and family support.
Lasiah Susanti Copyright (c) 2023 Lasiah Susanti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/ijhr/article/view/9433 Thu, 14 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000
