http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/JIMP/article/view/14534

This study aims to analyze publication trends, conceptual network structures, and key theme clusters in adaptive learning and learning style research in the Social Sciences field from 2016 to 2025 using a bibliometric approach. Data were obtained from the Scopus database using VOSviewer software and OpenRefine for visualization and analysis. The results show a significant upward trend in publications, particularly in 2020–2024, with a peak of 78 documents in 2024, triggered by the digital transformation of education due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The conceptual network structure reveals learning style as a central node connecting various research domains, with a temporal evolution from a descriptive-theoretical to an implementative-technological paradigm. Cluster analysis identified eight main themes dominated by psychological-individual aspects (21 items), adaptive-personalization systems (20 items), learning technology (19 items), and AI-based management (17 items). These findings confirm that adaptive learning and learning style research have evolved from conceptual exploration to intelligent technology implementation, with learning style as the main foundation. This study contributes by mapping the evolution of the theme and identifying potential areas for future research, particularly in AI-based learning personalization.
Azizatul KhairiRambat Nur SasongkoAsti Putri KartiwiNur Fathanah Taslim

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/JIMP/article/view/13589

Izzah ZulfaAmy MustaudaMuhammad Munadi

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/JIMP/article/view/14906

Multiliteracy focuses on multimodal communication and linguistic and cultural diversity. It is increasingly relevant in 21st-century primary education. In Indonesian elementary English classrooms, multiliteracy opens space for more engaging learning but also introduces pedagogical and infrastructural constraints. This study explores how primary teachers implement multiliteracy-oriented practices in English lessons and identifies the challenges that arise during classroom application. Employing a qualitative case study, data were gathered through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving six teachers. The results show that teachers integrated various multimodal resources, such as images, songs, videos, and mobile devices. The teachers also applied interactive strategies, including role-play, games, and group discussion. Furthermore, the teachers modified teaching materials to accommodate students’ proficiency levels. Nonetheless, limited student vocabulary, inadequate technological support, and teachers’ restricted English competence emerged as key barriers. Despite these constraints, students responded positively to multimodal and interactive activities, displaying strong enthusiasm and engagement in the learning process.
Ramadhani Uswatun KhasanahRagil Dian Purnama Putri

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/JIMP/article/view/14710

This research examines how the Indonesian religious practice, Sunda Wiwitan’s philosophy, serves as a pragmatic approach to digital leadership in the education sector during the era of digitalization. Education becomes a commodity and penetrates the market through industrial interest in the era of technology. Therefore, the gap in education in the era of educational capitalism needs strong leadership in the digital era. This condition requires a local character to gain a demand for education as a commodity in economic capitalism. We argue that the character of Pikukuh Tilu—a balanced life—triggers the pragmatic act of digital educational leadership in the digital era. In accessing books, journals, academic writings, and historical documents as secondary sources, this study employs sociological methods to separate the historical Sunda Wiwitan, its development, and apply it in the research logically. The result of this study is that the Pikukuh Tilu philosophy teaches a dialectical dialogue between religious practice and digital educational leadership to adopt the character of balance in education. This research concludes that religious practice philosophy never abandons local character to exist in modern times.
Halim WiryadinataBernadetha Nadeak

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/JIMP/article/view/15047

Handika Yuda SaputraEddy SupriadiDedi Kurniadi

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/JIMP/article/view/14711

This study examines how the philosophical Tri Hita Karana, as a Hindu religious value, has become the foundation of contemporary educational management in seeking the balance between social responsibility and community engagement. One of the purposes of education is to pursue social change in the community through the social responsibility to transfer knowledge and skill development. However, cancerous capitalism affects the meaning of education, making educational capitalism focus on economic matters. Therefore, we argue that the Tri Hita Karana philosophy develops educational management to point out social responsibility and community engagement as the foundation of the contemporary axiology of management. The sociology of religion approach, a research methodology that applies sociological principles to the study of religion, is conducted through critical thinking to support the argument. This approach will access books, articles, journals, academic writings, and old manuscripts to bring up the emic perspective. The result of this research is that the meaning of balance in life, which refers to a harmonious coexistence of economic, social, and cultural aspects, creates the foundation of educational management in seeking the equilibrium between social responsibility and community engagement. This study concludes that Tri Hita Karana brings together management, education, and philosophy to reinforce one another.
Bernadetha NadeakHalim Wiryadinata
