http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/IWP/article/view/11476

Indonesia is a country with a majority Muslim population, so in economic activities, people tend to follow sharia principles. Islamic banks, which operate based on Islamic law, play an important role in providing sharia-compliant financial products. However, despite the majority of the population being Muslim, the use of Islamic banks is not yet widespread, including in educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools teach religiosity and Islamic economics to their students, but many students still choose conventional banks. This study aims to analyse the effect of Islamic financial literacy, religiosity, and perceived confidence on saving decisions in Islamic banking among students of Al-Hadi Student Boarding School, Yogyakarta. This study uses quantitative methods with primary data collection through questionnaires distributed to 55 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that Islamic financial literacy and religiosity had a significant effect on the decision to save in Islamic banking, while perceived confidence had no significant effect. Simultaneously, these three variables affect the decision to save by 54.6% with 45.4% influenced by other variables not studied.
Nadziratul IshlahiyahPriyono Puji Prasetyo

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/IWP/article/view/11481

Children who use gadgets to look up educational materials, have an open mind, and view the world through a single screen benefit much from them. Apart from that benefit, there are just too many drawbacks to gadgets for kids. The researcher's objectives are to gain a deeper understanding of the detrimental effects of gadget use in class 7 at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 in Yogyakarta. Descriptive approaches are being used by the researcher in this study. utilizing the questionnaire, the client interview, and the documentation. Additionally, we employ data reduction, providing triangulation and data. According to analyst data, one of the bad effects of using a device is losing weight. This is because playing video games for extended periods of time can divert our attention from other tasks, and people who play these kinds of games often lie to one other, avoid completing their assignments, harass others, and treat each other rudely. The researchers expect that their study will be able to significantly improve student productivity at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta compared to utilizing a device all day to play games, watch YouTube, browse social media, and other activities. Tesearchet hopes that the SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta teachers would work diligently to instruct and clarify to the children the negative impact of negativity and to modify their misbehavior.
Achmad Fadel FadelWantini Wantini

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/IWP/article/view/11483

Business opportunities in the traditional food sector in Indonesia are categorized as very profitable opportunities. Public interest in traditional cuisine is very high. Indonesia, with its large Muslim population, has great potential as a key player in the development of the halal industry. Indonesia accounts for around 11,7% of the total Muslim population in the world, with the Muslim population reaching around 242,7 million by 2024. This figure is equivalent to about 87% of Indonesia's total population. In addition, Indonesia ranks 2nd in the category of halal food producers, indicating that the market potential is still very large to be utilized. This research is a literature study that uses secondary data from scientific articles and other relevant documents using SWOT and PESTEL methods. The optimization of traditional food products is important to improving Indonesia's halal industry's competitiveness. With the application of modern technology and innovative strategies, traditional food products can be transformed into products that not only meet halal standards but also support food sustainability. This is in line with global efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly food security and responsible production. Thus, optimizing traditional food products not only supports national economic growth but also strengthens Indonesia's position as a major player in the global halal industry.
Salsabil ChoiriHilma Fanniar Rohman

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/IWP/article/view/11412

This study explores the integration strategies of Islamic Education and Character Education in several Madrasah Aliyah in Ponorogo, East Java, and its implications for the development of students' moral integrity. Using qualitative methods, data were collected through interviews with various informants, including principals, teachers, and students. The findings indicate that madrasahs have successfully developed effective strategies, including the implementation of an integrated curriculum, habituation of Islamic behaviour, and active involvement of teachers as role models. These strategies have significantly positively impacted the formation of students' moral integrity, as reflected in increased honesty, responsibility, and discipline. Comparative analysis with curriculum integration and moral development theories supports these findings, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach in education to shape students' character. However, the study also identifies challenges, including consistency in strategy implementation across madrasahs and social environment support. Recommendations for further research include comparative and longitudinal studies to expand understanding of the long-term effectiveness of this integration.
Hanifah NoviandariFallya Putri UtamiEndah Tri Wahyuningsih

http://journal2.uad.ac.id/index.php/IWP/article/view/11405

Shia is a sect in Islam that emerged after the tahkim incident during the companions era. The change in the motivation of Ali bin Talib’s supporters from a political movement to a theological movement gave rise to a new teaching, namely imamate or believing that there were twelve caliphs after the Prophet Muhammad. This had an impact on the emergence of a new style in the hadith tradition and interpretation of the qur’an, through the intermediary of Shia muhadists and their books such as al-Husain ibn Sa'id who wrote the book Al-Mukmin and the Shia mufasir and his book Abu Zahrah who wrote the book Minal I'jaz Al-Balaghy Wal Adady Lil Qur’an. Even though they have the same background, they both have different methods and characters in writing books and presenting Shia teachings. Like al-Husain ibn Sa’id who does not mention much in his book about Shiite teachings, but rather general discussions that are often encountered by the public. Meanwhile, Abu Zahrah mentions a lot in his book about Shiite teachings, especially those related to the number 12 and the teachings of the Imamate.
Muhammad Hasnan Nahar
